A Charming Private Event Space in Arlington

Gather, celebrate and connect in the Dining Room at The Thornton Inn. Located near Downtown Arlington and the University of Texas at Arlington, our intimate private event space is ideal for dinners, showers, celebrations, meetings, workshops and other small gatherings.

Three dining tables provide seating for 18 guests, with additional lounge seating available. The room can accommodate up to 30 guests with an approved mixed seated-and-standing arrangement.

The Dining Room is a welcoming choice for:

Outside caterers and private chefs are welcome with advance approval.

All setup, decorating, event time and cleanup must take place within the reserved rental period unless additional time is arranged in advance.

Guest rooms and furnished apartments at The Thornton Inn may be reserved separately, subject to availability. Combining your gathering with overnight accommodations makes planning easier for family celebrations, graduation weekends, private dinners and guests traveling to Arlington.

Planning Your Event

All event requests are reviewed before confirmation. Availability, setup needs, kitchen use, catering plans and any special arrangements will be discussed before your reservation is finalized.

The maximum event capacity is 30 guests. The room is best suited for up to 18 guests seated at the dining tables, with additional lounge or standing space depending on the event layout.
